Dakota Gasification Company CO2 sequestration verification project—a case study of greenhouse gas reduction verification and marketing

摘要: The Dakota Gasification Company (DGC) and EnCana Corporation have jointly implemented a project to allow CO2 emissions from the Great Plains Synfuels Plant in North be captured used for enhanced oil recovery operations at Weyburn Oil Field Saskatchewan. This paper shares experience of CH2M HILL Natsource, LLC quantification primary secondary greenhouse gas impacts project, registration with DOE's 1605(b) program, development monitoring verification plan tracking past future reductions, analysis strategies monetizing reductions resulting this cross-border project. monetary values emission were assessed under several different scenarios GHG policy.
