Work disability in early rheumatoid arthritis.

摘要: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are at risk of work disability from the very start their symptoms. Prospective cohorts including patients early RA show that 20-30% become permanently disabled during first 2-3 years disease. Risk factors for include a physically demanding job, older age, and lower educational level, as well level functional in daily activities. Work accounts major fraction costs both to patient society. Improved outcomes may require attention social, economic, political issues, broader physician public education concerning RA, addition improved medical management
