摘要: We analyze with electron holography carried out in a transmission microscope the near-Curie behavior of magnetism at edge Nickel thin film coated Carbon. In-situ experiments finely controlled variations sample temperature reveal an anomaly ferromagnetic to paramagnetic phase transition when is few degrees above nominal Curie point. interpret as strain-induced spin reorientation triggered by differential thermal expansion Carbon and Nickel. present model that quantitatively reproduces main features observed signal. The developed terms anisotropic, dependent exchange coupling between moments interface favors their vertical alignment low temperatures.
