摘要: Abstract The modified two-step mean-field homogenization procedure including the quadratic interpolative model on basis of Mori-Tanaka (M-T) and double inclusion (D-I) models in first-step simple second-step Voigt Reuss models, direct finite element (FE) method based concept representative volume (RVE) periodic boundary conditions (the RVE FE method), are implemented to predict effective elastic properties metal matrix composites with randomly distributed fibers. Compared results measured from uniaxial tensile experiments, provide accurate predictions However, case neglecting detailed stress strain fields fibers, gives far better computational efficiency than method.
