摘要: Glass–ceramic sealants are commonly used as joining materials for planar solid oxide fuel cells stacks. Several requirements need to be fulfilled by these materials: beside of electrical insulation and appropriate thermal expansion, a good adhesion on the ceramic metallic components SOFC stack is necessary form gas-tight joint. Even though process might have been successful, failures leaks often occur during operation due fracture brittle material under stresses or cycling components. This study focusses composite consisting glass matrix based system BaO–CaO–SiO2 various filler materials, e.g. yttria-stabilized zirconia fibres particles silver particles. In order evaluate possible reinforcing influence composite, tensile strength tests were carried out circular butt joints. The highest values found with addition particles, followed itself without any lowest measured YSZ SEM investigations cross-sections joints elucidated results microstructure glass-ceramic sealants.
