摘要: Abstract Effects of Cu and Si on the densities stabilities glassy Pcl-Cu-Si alloys have been studied. These effects are discussed in terms chemical bonding. It is found that (1) relatively high metallic glasses as compared to those corresponding crystalline phases a characteristic independent composition, (2) differences radial distribution functions (RDF) reflections short-range structural arrangements liquids (3) metals metalloids similar atomic sizes play distinctive roles formation stability glasses. Therefore, properties apparently dominated by chemcial bonding among constituent atoms, rather than their relative sizes.
