摘要: Abstract: In this work, the viscoplastic behaviour of 6082-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminium alloys is examined over a wide range strain rates. Three different testing techniques were applied to investigation: low-rate experiments performed using regular servo-hydraulic machine, high-rate tests conducted split Hopkinson bar apparatus very-high-rate carried out miniaturised direct impact test arrangement. The latter set-up allowed for characterisation material flow at rates up . These experimental results showed sharp increase in rate sensitivity materials once threshold loading exceeded. This may be attributed presence viscous drag on high-velocity dislocation motion. addition, thermo-viscoplastic was analytically described extended Rusinek–Klepaczko model effects. Satisfactory correlation observed between constitutive entire studied,
