摘要: Currently, the development of safe and sustainable energy-storage systems is being pursued due to their large-scale production widespread utilization. Harnessing electroactive materials derived from biomass could pave a way fabricate next-generation, environmental friendly biocompatible devices. In this Research News, recent progress in field renewable-biomolecules-based electrochemical highlighted. Specifically, biomolecules exploration, electrode fabrication charge-storage mechanism such are discussed. Finally, critical challenges associated with presented, insights into future rechargeable devices based on natural biomaterials provided.
