Increase in the mediators of asthma in obesity and obesity with type 2 diabetes: reduction with weight loss.

摘要: Objective To determine whether the expression of key asthma related genes, IL-4, LIGHT, LTBR, MMP-9, CCR-2, and ADAM-33 in mononuclear cells plasma concentration nitric oxide metabolites (NOM) MMP-9 are increased obese, obese type 2 diabetics (T2DM) morbidly patients prior to after gastric bypass surgery (RYGB). Design Methods The these genes MNC concentrations indices was measured healthy lean with without T2DM following RYGB T2DM. Results The LIGHT CCR-2 NOM significantly higher subjects than normal subjects. The BMI HOMA-IR. ADAM-33, fell as did NOM. Conclusions Obesity is associated an increase CCR-2; also increased. Following weight loss, factors falls significantly.
