摘要: Described herein are systems and methods that reduce power consumption for an electronics device includes a display. Power conservation described alter video information in one or more inactive portions of display area such the alteration decreases consumption. The invention finds use with many devices, as portable computing devices powered from battery other limited source power. Since output often dominates device, decreasing may extends longevity device.
