Search for invisible decays of Higgs bosons in the vector boson fusion and associated ZH production modes

摘要: A search for invisible decays of Higgs bosons is performed using the vector boson fusion and associated ZH production modes. In mode, Z required to decay a pair charged leptons or $b\bar{b}$ quark pair. The searches use 8 TeV pp collision dataset collected by CMS detector at LHC, corresponding an integrated luminosity up 19.7 inverse femtobarns. Certain channels include data from 7 collisions 4.9 are sensitive non-standard-model recently observed boson, as well additional with similar modes large branching fractions. all channels, consistent expected standard model backgrounds. Limits set on cross section times fraction, function mass, By combining assuming sections acceptances, (expected) upper limit fraction $m_H$=125 GeV found be 0.58 (0.44) 95% confidence level. We interpret this in terms Higgs-portal dark matter interactions.
