Novel fatty acid-lactic acid ester

摘要: Lactic acid esters of an α-branched fatty possessing excellent hair conditioning effect are disclosed. Typical example is sodium 2-heptylundecanoyl lactate prepared by the reaction 2-heptylundecanoic and lactic in presence alkali such as hydroxide. This compound gives a shampoo composition conjunction with anionic surface active agent, rinse when quaternary ammonium salt formulated. The compositions have effects on use good slipperiness curling formation or retention performance.
