摘要: Observation of surface field excitation by an obliquely incident wave inside a cylindrical two-dimensional periodic lattice is step forward toward THz Cherenkov amplifiers. Here we observe and discuss this phenomenon, investigating it using different approaches. The results are compared, shown that increase in the contrast fields resulting eigenmode formation. Measurements were conducted studying transmission signal, measured gaps spectra associated with formation rather than band gap establishment.
