Understanding buy-in for risky prospects: incorporating degree of belief into the ex-ante assessment of support for alternative road pricing schemes

摘要: This paper investigates support for road pricing reform within the framework of a referendum voting choice model. Central to this task is how identify ex ante specific schemes, such that evidence believable. approach centred on model alternative schemes in which we incorporate information accounts degree belief extent will make voters better or worse off. It finds accounting benefits results sizeable reductions sensitivity levels charge but quite small impacts revenue allocation.
