摘要: We reviewed the radiological findings in 45 morbidly obese patients (weight range 80-129 kg; mean 95.7 kg) after gastric restriction surgery with adjustable silicone banding (ASBG) according to Kuzmak technique. Radiographic studies of stomach were performed before, and at 4 12 months surgery; symptomatic underwent additional when needed. Patients evaluated using both liquid barium a solid opaque meal assess post-operative morphology as well emptying time proximal pouch. 27 had normal clinical course. Variation calibre band under radio- graphic guidance was required these patients, based on dilatation pouch, variation stomal from operative values, or an longer than 30 min. All problems disappeared adjustment manoeuvres. 18 complications, which five stenosis could not be managed through simple deflation band; two posterior bending pouch; four gastritis oesophagitis; six infection inflatable reservoir; one cranial displacement band, migration into stomach. Removal necessary 11 cases, removal reservoir alone three patients. Radiology plays important role evaluating complications surgery. Knowing variety enables accurate treatment planning follow-up
