摘要: The well-being of mammals kept in the laboratory or on farm is a major concern worldwide. Having multiple and reliable indicators that appraise living under assorted conditions is, therefore, essential to attain their captivity. This also constitutes research topic Behavioral Neuroendocrinology as best an animal's welfare state are largely neuroendocrine behavioral. In this chapter we selected species commonly found laboratories farms (rodents, rabbits, sheep, goats, bovines) illustrate effects housing environmental conditions, management practices, early rearing specific hormonal, behavioral, immunological parameters.
