Synthesis, structural study, magnetic susceptibility and antimicrobial activity of the first (μ-oxo)-bis(oxalato)-vanadium(IV) 1D coordination polymer

摘要: Abstract Catena-poly[bis(guanidinium) (μ-oxo)-bis(oxalato)-vanadium(IV)], 1, a new 1D polymeric V(IV) salt has been synthesized by slow evaporation at room temperature and its structure elucidated single-crystal X-ray diffraction, while bis [4-(dimethylamino)-pyridinium] aquabis (oxalato)oxidovanadate(IV) dihydrate's structure, 2, previously reported. In addition to elemental analysis, single crystal diffraction structural data report of both compounds 1 2 have characterized by, FT-IR UV–Vis spectroscopy, Rietveld refinement, TG–DSC analysis. Magnetic susceptibility the had investigated discussed in context their structures. The stability, availability ease synthesis those are an advantage for antimicrobial activity investigation against different Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria, yeast fungi microorganisms. Further investigations on compounds' lysozyme spore germination inhibition aim go deeper mechanism actions.
