摘要: SUMMARY This paper investigates the combustion characteristics of 12 wood species natural to Brazil. A mass loss cone calorimeter was used obtain properties associated with (i) heat release rate (HRR), peak HRR, and total released; (ii) rate; (iii) average effective combustion; (iv) time ignition, pyrolysis temperature ignition. The samples in this work were as follows: prepared accordance ISO 5660-1:2002; oven dried; irradiated a constant flux 50 kW/m2; exhibit fiber orientation plane orthogonal incidence. Finally, explores possibility linking obtained density classes selected species. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
