Dysfunctional attitudes and psychosocial stress: The differential prediction of future psychological symptomatology.

摘要: The interactive effects of dysfunctional attitudes, stressful life events, and social support on symptoms depression general psychological distress were investigated in the present study. Self-report measures these five constructs administered to 57 female undergraduates twice, with 3 months between testing sessions. Whereas interactions attitudes events expected predict subsequent severity depression, it was hypothesized that two-way would not distress. These predictions confirmed, exception interaction a significant predictor depressive symptoms.
