摘要: SUMMARY: In the village of Kheru Nayak Thanda in Gulbarga district Karnataka, India, 18 children aged 3 to 10 years with endemic skeletal fluoro- sis were shown have oxidative stress as evidenced by elevated levels malondialdehyde their red blood cells, indicating increased lipid peroxida- tion. Significant alterations antioxidant systems con- firmed decreased glutathione and uric acid together an in- crease activity peroxidase well level ascorbic along a slight decrease superoxide dismutase.
