摘要: ABSTRACT During 1992, 1993, and 1994, trials were conducted at Lubbock, TX to compare planting rates of burrs caryopses on establishment turf quality buffalograss. Planting 1125 1875 m”2 resulted in optimum stand 2 4 wks after planting. Caryopses had faster emergence, less seedling mortality, better than burrs. important successful the type seed. Utilization should enhance buffalograss for both commercial residential turfgrass growers arid semiarid environments.
