摘要: A numerical method is developed to simulate the bow flare slamming of fast ships. Curved ship body boundary represented by Porocity within constraints a rectangular grid system. Numerical simulations are conducted using cross section typical container with large and compared model experiments. The results computed measured pressure histories comparable. Conventional theories based on self-similarity, other hand, fail predict flare. From experiments authors found that high persists for long duration time without any sharp peak Large scale structural damage might be caused this since it increases simultaneously over an extensive area when upper part comes into contact water.
