摘要: Algal blooms have become a major concern in coastal areas and the great lakes of world. Because their various consequences for aquatic ecosystems resources, algal are called "harmful blooms" (HABs). HABs often severely detrimental when they involve oneormoretoxin-producingmicroalgaeofvarioustaxonomic origins. The accumulation biomass also has deleteri- ous effects on ecological status water. However, appro- priate management strategies can allow beneficial utiliza- tion these events by consuming feedstock production valuable biocommodities, including biofuels, functional food ingredients, UV-absorbing com- pounds, pharmaceutical products, etc. if be harvested prior to onset death phase, nutrients (carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus) removed from ecosystem harvesting blooms. Great progress been made last decade monitoring predicting HABs, demand is emerging persuasive postevent policies that focus potential utilization as natural renewable bioresources. This review summarizes appli- cations nuisance need scientific research into economic industrial potential. Major products with signifi- cance contemporary global analyzed.
