摘要: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a growing epidemic which affects up to 30 % of the American population. steatohepatitis (NASH), more severe form NAFLD, associated with increased risk cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, insulin resistance (IR), type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), hepatic steatosis, elevated circulating levels free acids (FFAs) hepatocyte apoptosis. Because lipid-induced toxicity, or lipoapoptosis, represents key pathogenic factor for we will focus on evidence connecting accumulation certain lipid types in progressive induction injury secondary inflammation/fibrosis during disease. A better understanding molecular cellular pathway lipotoxicity has both diagnostic therapeutic implication treatment NAFLD.
