摘要: There is a flood of molecular data about many aspects cellular functioning. This ranges from sequence and structural to gene protein regulation data, including time dependent changes in the concentration. Integration different datasets through computational methods required extract biological information that relevant systems biology perspective. In this paper we discuss how tools can be made work together integrating differ- ent types mining these for information, assisting pathway reconstruction hy- potheses generation. We review recent body literature where such integrative approaches are used automation integration model building generate testable hypotheses. analyze issues regarding design automated what limitations pitfalls foreseen solutions computer science biologists provide overcome them.
