摘要: The paper presents results of numerical Finite Element analysis an internal combustion engine piston with a thermal barrier made zirconia, subjected to and thermo-mechanical loadings. Special emphasis was laid on investigation the impact surface coating fields temperature, heat fluxes, residual stresses in coated working conditions. For this purpose, methodology developing FEM models elaborated, several 2D 3D were built, models, loadings performed. computations proved high efficiency as barrier. temperature some areas inside showed huge decrease 40% lower compared for same without coating. At time, fluxes reduced almost ten times. developed modelling simulation may lead obtain higher resistance, strength durability engines their elements barriers all application, including aviation.
