摘要: As an analog to the endothelium situated next vascular smooth muscle, epithelium is emerging as important regulator of muscle contraction in many vital organs/tissues by interacting with other cell types and releasing epithelium-derived factors, among which prostaglandins have been demonstrated play a versatile role governing essential physiological pathophysiological processes wide range organ systems.
