摘要: The interest of consumers in farming activities is evident and agricultural producers have responded to this increasing a number ways, including inviting visitors farm operations through tourism or visits. Livestock industries, particular, are interacting with the public numerous via marketing channels for their products, community leaders members regard location siting regulations, people onto agritourism. An improved understanding who visits locations (particularly livestock operations) consumers’ perceptions about agriculture needed order begin understand possible relationships between on-farm experiences perceptions. Thus, it important gain deeper interests, levels concern production process attributes, such as animal welfare, relative product attributes like price taste. This analysis investigates demographics (and not) visited various agritourism operations, studies differences preferences (or of) welfare other pork not operation, well amongst varying involvement household food production. Indeed explored having operation study found that 69% participants had (pig farm, dairy and/or horse farm) at some point. majority respondents agreed was an industry, yet, those were more likely note concerns impact on water quality county.
