摘要: Lejeunea huctumalcensis Lindenb. & Gottsche in et al. (1847: 762), a widespread neotropical species, is one of the most unusual taxa Libert (1820: 372) owing to variable gynoecial innovation type which may be lejeuneoid or pycnolejeuneoid, presence ocelli leaf lobes and perianth keels usually with bifid more ramified laciniae (Reiner-Drehwald Ilkiu-Borges 2007). In other species this large genus, innovations are invariably lejeuneoid, lacking do not produce laciniae. The generic position has long been controversial assigned to at least six different genera, including Ceratolejeunea (Spruce 1884: 77) Jack Stephani (1892: 16), Hygrolejeunea Schiffner (1893: 124), , Otigoniolejeunea 125), Pycnolejeunea 246) Trachylejeunea 180) 126) latter authors showed that L. an older name for xiphotis Spruce (1884: 227), subg. (o (Spruce) Schiffn.), thus automatically becomes member group. was provisionally accepted by Reiner-Drehwald (2007) as subgenus its only species. Other recent authors, however, have treated mere synonym (e.g., Grolle 1983; Singh 2013).
