摘要: While there has been a number of studies examining the effects preschool as intervention for children economic poverty and special needs children, not research education general population children. The purpose this study was to determine years preschool, gender, at-risk status on children's readiness first grade. 4539 participated in study. 104 started public school at three-years-old (K3), 1234started age four (K4) 3201 five. At-risk determined using Cooperative Preschool Inventory (Caldwell, 1974) grade Metropolitan Readiness Test (MRT; Nurss & McGauvran, 1974).
