摘要: Abstract Bio-oil produced from biomass fast pyrolysis process is an organic liquid that can be transformed into high quality biofuel through upgrading process. comprises a large amount of carboxylic acids, which cause its corrosiveness, hence, difficulty for storage and utilization. Esterification may considered as intermediate method to convert the acids in bio-oil esters by reacting with alcohol. This work presents kinetic studies esterification model compound ethanol catalyzed 12-tungstosilicic acid. Oleic acid was used represent main component derived agro-residues. Conditions were molar ratio oleic 9.11:1, catalyst loading 10 wt%, reaction temperatures range 35-75 °C. It found pseudo-homogeneous suitable compound. Average order n = 1.9, activation energy E 50 . 1 kJ/mol, pre-exponential factor A 11.11 × 103 min−1 obtained fitting experimental results.
