Rediscovery of the Threatened River Sharks, Glyphis garricki and G. glyphis, in Papua New Guinea.

摘要: Recent surveys of the shark and ray catches artisanal fishers in Western Province Papua New Guinea (PNG) resulted rediscovery threatened river sharks, Glyphis garricki glyphis. These represent first records both species PNG since 1960s 1970s highlight lack studies biodiversity PNG. Two individuals G. three glyphis were recorded from coastal marine waters Daru region October November 2014.
