摘要: Revegetation of roadsides is an opportunity for grassland restoration, yet these habitats are prone to be colonised by invasive alien plant species (IAS). Therefore, the selection seed mixtures revegetation should consider potential competition with IAS present in soil bank or arriving traffic-related rain. We investigated whether limiting similarity hypothesis, terms seed-size-output strategy, could used design native communities resistant IAS. In a greenhouse experiment, small- large-seeded was sown into factorial combinations two small large strategies at sowing densities. Height and aboveground biomass were measured after four eight weeks, respectively. Small-seeded high density highly effective suppressing IAS, mostly controlled effect. Thus, strategy only partly explained resistance while density-driven suppression more effective.
