摘要: Red blood cell (RBC) effects on platelet adhesion to a nonbiologic test surface (tetrafluoroethylene propylene copolymer) and aggregation during laminar shear flow for rates 5,680 s-1 (corresponding stress 200 dyne/cm2) were investigated. Results hemoglobin (Hb) adenosine diphosphate (ADP) release from RBCs, percent decrease of single platelets in the bulk, covered with obtained cone-and-plate (CP) viscometer samples whole blood, suspensions RBC ghosts platelet-rich plasma (PRP), RBCs either PRP or platelet-poor plasma. over rate range studied normal hematocrit indicated that low-stress shearing led ADP Hb intact RBCs; shear-induced was about twice platelets, total released, released contributed six times reduction bulk adhesion, ie, coverage platelets. various hematocrits showed above threshold 25% 35% (suspended PRP) had greater contribution release, than themselves. Single suspended correlated level not stress.
