摘要: In recent decades, the presence of micropollutants in environment has been extensively studied due to their high frequency occurrence, persistence and possible adverse effects exposed organisms. Concerning chiral environment, enantiomers are frequently ignored enantiomeric composition often neglected. However, enantioselective toxicity is well recognized, highlighting need include enantioselectivity environmental risk assessment. Additionally, information about fraction (EF) crucial since it gives insights about: (i) fate (i.e., distribution, removal processes (bio)degradation); (ii) illicit discharges; (iii) consumption pattern (e.g., drugs, pharmaceuticals used as recreational use pesticides); (iv) toxicological effects. Thus, purpose this paper provide a comprehensive review occurrence bioactive compounds aquatic matrices. These pharmaceuticals, pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) polycyclic musks (PCMs). Most analytical methods for separation were liquid chromatography gas methodologies using both indirect (enantiomerically pure derivatizing reagents) direct (chiral stationary phases). The these reviewed future challenges outlined.
