摘要: Poplar fungi canker is a disease that constitutes serious threat to the poplar plant, model tree in forest research. The control of this by use chemical fumigants associated with unwanted side effects such as environmental pollution and drug resistance. However, can be effectively controlled fengycin, an environmentally friendly bio-surfactant microbial origin. Fengycin homologues are series lipopeptides variations both length branching β-hydroxy fatty acid. This study was aimed at purifying characterizing fengycin produced Bacillus subtilis from wood bark. A total 13 were obtained through 70% ammonium sulfate precipitation, methanol extraction, ion exchange chromatography, gel filtration semi-preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Electro-spray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) electro-spray tandem (ESI-MS/MS) employed elucidate structures these compounds, further characterized amino acid analysis. Thirteen (13) active compounds or B homologues. All exhibited antifungal activity against indicator strain Botryosphaeria dothidea. finding considered significant, it first report on production so many isomers subtilis. Thus, B. bark rich source environment-friendly, anti-microbial agents for canker.
