Spin-1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the star lattice: Competing valence-bond-solid phases studied by means of tensor networks

摘要: Frustrated quantum antiferromagnetism is an important physical phenomena leading to many of the key properties matter, such as spin liquids and topological order. Here, authors employ novel techniques based on tensor network methods for triangle-honeycomb lattice in order compute ground-state a frustrated antiferromagnet star lattice, with high accuracy, thermodynamic limit. Importantly, their findings contradict some existing results literature this model. In particular, they find new resonating valence-bond solid (VBS) phase that had not been observed before, well different VBS structure at isotropic point than one previously conjectured by other methods. Moreover, using techniques, also determine existence continuous transition system between orders.
