摘要: A rising number of patients with acute and chronic renal failure worldwide have created urgency for clinicians investigators to search out alternative therapies other than dialysis and/or organ transplantation. This review focuses on the recent achievements in this area, discusses various approaches development bioengineering tissue including discoveries field regenerative medicine research stem cells. variety cells, ranging from embryonic, bone marrow, endogenous, amniotic fluid, been investigated may prove useful as novel alternatives regeneration both vitro vivo. Tissue engineering, developmental biology, therapeutic cloning techniques significantly contributed our understanding some molecular mechanisms involved demonstrated that can be generated de novo similar physiologic functions native tissue. Ultimately all these emerging technologies provide viable options applications focused future.
