摘要: Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is characterized by ophthalmoplegia mainly affecting vertical gaze, nuchal dystonia in extension, pseudobulbar palsy, and mental changes. The literature on PSP has been neurologically oriented whereas the psychiatric aspects have relatively neglected. A review of shows that disturbance common but with no characteristic pattern. Cognitive impairment, nonspecific affective behavioral disturbances are commonly found, frank psychosis or bipolar disorder rare. Misdiagnoses disorders a heightened awareness condition necessary for early diagnosis.
