Wander: A smartphone app for sensing sociability

摘要: This paper presents a new smartphone application, Wander, to capture high resolution space-time information on urban dwellers. We detail both the mechanism as well analytic platform through which broad scale spatial mobility studies can be mounted reveal how individuals move spaces and interact with social physical elements of life. Results demonstrate utility Wander for collecting data that first time enables empirical testing theories forwarded by sociologists at turn 20th Century. use collected application examine timing regularity patterns, these are related particular features, differ participant characteristics.
