摘要: Background: Nasotracheal intubation (NTI) is the standard used technique for treating children’s teeth under general anaesthesia (GA). Nevertheless, it may cause adverse effects like laryngeal pain, post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV), dysphonia. Hence, this study aimed to compare pediatric dentist’s access mouth, PONV, dysphonia, patients’ recovery time, parents satisfaction operators children received NTI or an LMA.Materials methods: Fifty were randomised either LMA groups. One expert dentist performed full mouth rehabilitation all children. An anaesthetist 8% sevoflurane mask induction, followed by airway management with NTI. Muscle relaxant was not administered both groups permit lung muscles work normally during operation. Results: The baseline characteristics similar between no statistically significant difference. Regarding postoperative pain showed less risk of occurrence a relative 0.27 (95% CI: 0.1, 0.69) 0.22 0.5) respectively, these results (P 0.05). Conclusion: For group Egyptian who underwent full-mouth dental anaesthesia, provided However, had better accessibility workability NTI, which subsequently decreased operation time significantly.
