Small-world phenomena in physics: the Ising model

摘要: The Ising system with a small fraction of random long-range interactions is the simplest example small-world phenomena in physics. Considering latter both an annealed and quenched state we conclude that: (a) existence leads to phase transition one-dimensional case (b) there minimal average number p these per site (p<1 state, p1 state) needed for appearance transition. Note that bonds, pN/2, much smaller than total N2/2.
