摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Recent data on the high burden of HIV among transgender women have stimulated interest in addressing this vulnerable population. This review situates epidemiologic context social determinants health and describes opportunities for effective interventions. RECENT FINDINGS Transgender experience unique vulnerability to that can be attributed multilevel, intersecting factors also influence treatment care continuum. Stigma discrimination, lack legal recognition their affirmed gender, exclusion from employment educational represent fundamental drivers risk worldwide.
