摘要: This paper reports the results of a field-based structural investigation well-exposed paleo-accretionary prism, which experienced complex deformation in low-grade metamorphic setting. Field analyses focused on description fabrics, with main emphasis upon parameters like orientation, style and kinematics foliations, folds shear zones. We address research to south-westernmost part Alpine chain, Ligurian Alps, where, despite their origin as turbidite sequences deposited into closing Tethys Ocean, Helminthoid Flysch Nappes are presently distributed outer above foreland. The new dataset highlights different patterns related spatial distribution flysch units. regional-scale partitioning strain is hence associated progressive within two-stage geodynamic evolution. Correlations among orogenic domains allow proposal kinematic model that describes motion from inner orogen, encompassing shift subduction- collision-related phases.
