摘要: The authors present one case of Wernicke's encephalopathy in a patient with obstructive pyloric syndrome caused by gastric adenocarcinoma, without previous history alcoholism or malnutrition. They comment on the importance physiological aspects thiamine as co-enzyme transketolase and pyruvate-decarboxilase metabolic pathway for ATP production possibility existing an interaction between genetical environmental factors onset symptoms. draw attention clinical diagnosis, which should be precocious therapy to effective, especially patients
