摘要: Abstract The Community Climate System Model (CCSM) has been created to represent the principal components of climate system and their interactions. Development applications model are carried out by U.S. research community, thus taking advantage both wide intellectual participation computing capabilities beyond those available most individual institutions. This article outlines history CCSM, its current capabilities, plans for future development applications, with goal providing a summary useful present users. initial version CCSM included atmosphere ocean general circulation models, land surface that was grafted onto model, sea–ice "flux coupler" facilitates information exchanges among component models differing grids. produced successful 300–yr simulation without artificial flux adjustments. mo...
