Verifying the end use potable water savings from contemporary residential water supply schemes

摘要: Some Australian water businesses are implementing a range of alternative supply schemes in an attempt to conserve centralised supplies potable water. However, the justification often relies on best guess savings, source demand values and cost components. Seeking more rigorous assessment process, this study followed evidence-based approach accordance with Step 5 integrated resource planning (IRP) framework, whereby scheme consumption was monitored through end-use studies costs were evaluated using actual performance data. Such detailed evaluations can extract accurate total perspective unit ($/kL) better inform decision-making.
