摘要: Jatropha curcas L. produces seed oil that is viewed as having tremendous potential an economical alternative for diesel fuel. Seed yield, the main factor determining jatropha production, highly associated with flower development, especially number of female flowers. However, little was known regarding floral development in this species. Accordingly, studies were undertaken to develop more information on developmental process organs. The early divided into 12 phases. present study illustrated that, sex differentiation male or flowers  occurred phase-VII; earlier phases presented unapparent structural differences. flowers always had unisexual tissues during development. In contrast, bisexual tissues, sexual degradation occurring at later There significant location specificity respect inflorescence and Based this, combined total flowers, three types, which differences flowers; they likewise different probabilities occurrence terms growing seasons.   Key words: Biofuel, flower, inflorescence, Jatropha curcas, differentiation, scanning electron microscopy.
