摘要: We implemented a temporally dynamic approach to the cladistic biogeographic analysis of 13 areas North American deserts and several plant animal taxa. undertook parsimony paralogy-free subtrees based on 43 phylogenetic hypotheses arthropod, vertebrate taxa, assigning their nodes three different time slices estimated minimum ages: Early-Mid-Miocene (23−7 Ma), Late Miocene/Pliocene (6.9−2.5 Ma) Pleistocene (2.4−0.011 Ma). The analyses resulted in general area cladograms, one for each slice, showing relationships. They allowed us detect influences geological palaeoclimatological events Early-Mid-Miocene, that might have affected diversification desert biota. Several America been driven by Neogene uplift, marine incursion opening California Gulf during Miocene–Pliocene, whereas climatic fluctuations had highest impact Pleistocene.
