Three Co(III)–Fe(II) complexes based on hexacyanoferrates: Syntheses, spectroscopic and structural characterizations

摘要: Abstract Red or orange crystals of [Co(NH 3 ) 6 ] 2 Cl [Fe(CN) ] · 4H O ( 1 ), [Co( en ] · 2H and 4  · 21.6H were isolated from the aqueous systems Co 3+ –L N –[Fe(CN) 4− (L  = NH ,  = 1,2-diaminoethane). In all samples combination Mossbauer δ values range −0.07 to −0.08 mm/s) IR spectra ν (C N) stretching vibrations in 2015–2047 cm −1 confirms presence low spin Fe(II) anions. X-ray structure analyses corroborate ionic character studied compounds. These contain diamagnetic complex cations compounds chloride anions are present, too. All three water crystallization, compound as many 21.6 molecules per formula unit.
